These guides provide advice on how to run a workshop or discussion with different groups. To support you with your discussions, we have also developed the NCEA Change Package Overview PPT which outlines the changes at a high level.
Informal discussion guide - this guide will support discussions with parents, whānau, and students.
Staff meeting overview - this session will provide an overview of the changes. It is recommended that principals run this session with their staff first before holding an in-depth discussion on specific changes.
In-depth discussion guide – the intention of the in-depth discussions are to give teachers and principals the opportunity to dive deeper into a specific NCEA change and explore how the detail of the specific changes could be designed and implemented. It is recommended that the ‘Staff Meeting Overview’ workshop is delivered prior to this session.
